Aero India Show 2007 is yet another grand event being eagerly awaited by the aviation industry and aerospace enthusiasts alike. One of the largest exhibits of aircrafts and aerospace technology, the next Aero India Show will take place from February 7-11, 2007 in the ‘Garden City’ of Bangalore in Karnataka, India. The venue of Aero India Show 2007 is the Yelahanka Air Force Station, large enough to comfortably accommodate the large number of visitors and participants expected at the Aero India Show 2007.
The Aero India Shows are aimed at showcasing the latest technology in the aerospace and aviation sectors in India and are a perfect meeting ground for both the suppliers and the prospective buyers of aviation products. The show is truly one of Asia’s largest air exhibitions and takes place once every two years in the city of Bangalore. The first Aero India Show was held in 1996 and since then, the event has gained immense popularity across India and abroad. The 2007 Aero India Show is the 6th edition of the event and hopes to be a grand success like its predecessors.
You can witness some of the finest civil and military aircrafts on display at the Aero India 2007 along with other allied services related to the aviation business. The Indian Air Force would also showcase its offerings at the event.
The number of participants in Aero India Show 2007 is expected to comprise nearly 500 exhibitors from some of the top-notch global producers of civil and military aircrafts as well as allied service providers from the aerospace and airfield upgrade sectors. The industry also hopes that the participant figure could even break the previous records of the Aero India Show in 2005 wherein around 380 firms had taken part in the event.
As for the number of visitors to the Aerospace India Show of 2007, the figure could even go up to 1,50,000! This despite the fact that the air show essentially caters to a niche audience segment. The Ministry of Defence in India organizes the Aero India Shows in affiliation with other similar Indian defence organizations such as Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), India Space Research Organization (ISRO), members from the armed forces headquarters in India, the Indian Council of Ministers, foreign military delegations and end users in the fields of civil aviation and airport maintenance.
