Aero India Show 2007 is one of the most eagerly awaited defence and aircraft exhibitions in India and promises to be a grand affair. The venue of Aero India Show 2007 is the Yelahanka Air Force Base in Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka. This venue has been common for all the Aero India Shows held so far. The Aero India Show 2007 will be the 6th edition of the event ever since it was first held in 1996.
The Aero India Show is South Asia’s largest exhibition of the latest offerings from the Indian Aviation and Aerospace sector. Some of the world’s leading manufacturers of civil and military aircraft as well as vendors, suppliers and other allied service providers of the industry participate at the India Air Shows that are held biennially. The number of participants in Aero India Show 2007 is expected to surpass the figures recorded in the last show in 2005.
The venue of Aero India 2007 is the beautiful city of Bangalore that is more popularly known as the ‘Garden City’ of Karnataka. The bustling cosmopolitan city is the hub for all aerospace activities in India. Bangalore is also renowned as the ‘Information Technology Center of India’ and a large number of the world-famous IT companies are situated in Bangalore. The city is the exhibition venue for the Aero India Show in 2007, slated to take place from February 7-11. The show will comprise both air displays as well as static exhibitions from respective companies in the field of civil and military aviation, airfield upgrade and other similar industries.
Aero India Shows are organized by the Ministry of Defence in India in collaboration with the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and other similar defence research bodies. The aerospace shows in India also serve as an excellent platform for the Aviation industry to build alliances with their prospective buyers/clients.
