About Hotel Alsisar Haveli

It is a typical Rajput haveli, with an inner courtyard and an elevated platform on the first floor, which was earlier used as a meeting place for men of the house. It is a beautiful building and a great example of the Rajasthani architecture. For instance, the typical large elevated platform that is in the central area of the ground floor. Earlier, this was the place, where men of the house would hold a meeting. Now, after being turned into a heritage hotel, the same platform is used for seating the guests while they watch puppet shows and folk dance performances.

The Alsisar Haveli heritage hotel has 36 rooms, all of which even have their individual temperature controls along with other modern comforts. Though the rooms have all modern amenities yet they still look very similar to the way they used to be, when Thakurs used to live in them. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture and very traditional looking bright fabrics.
