Water falls- Kallathigiri Falls, only 10 km away from Kemmangundi is a beautiful waterfall at a height of 122 meters. The Hebbe falls is also about 10 kms from the Kemmangundi hill station where it splits into the Dodda hebbe(Bif falls) and the Chikka Hebbe (Small Falls).
Temples –the Belur Helebid temples are a must see for lovers of historical monukments.The Veerabhadra temple of Shiva in the gap between the rocks of Kallathigiri Falls is a spectacular site.Apart from that, there is Sringeri, a vedic Pitha od 9th century A.D, famous for Vidyashankara temple and Horanadu, 100 kms southwest of Chikmagalur, famous for the temple of Annapoorneshwari.Amrithapura, famous for Amartieshwara temple, 67 kms north of Chikmagalur and Guru Dattatreya Bababudanswamy Darga, a laterite cave on the Baba Budan Hills are all places of interest.
Wildlife – The Bhadra Wildlife sanctuary, 38 kms north west of Chikmagalur is a place of tourist interest.It has the backwaters of the Bhadra Reservoir on its western border.
