Architecture
The architectural pattern of the individual cottages called is that of Tharawad, the traditional wooden house of Kerala . Though some of these cottages are of more recent vintage, many are centuries-old with a few actually dating back to the early 1700s.

The accommodation on offer here can be classified into 3 basic types, Heritage Mansions, Heritage Bungalows and Private Pool Villas . Housing two stories, the first two types feature upstairs bedroom gallery with stunning sight of Lake Vembanad.
