One of the last princely forts in the region, Jaisalmer is

told Arjuna that a descendent of the Yadav Clan would set

a new capital called Jaisalmer on the Trikuta Hill.

by commanding castled sandstone, it has 99 bastions. Wells
within the fort still provide a regular source of water.
